Vermont artist Wylie Garcia, a recent recipient of a prestigious Pollock-Krasner grant, explores identity and emotional spaces through her paintings, drawings, and textiles. Garcia will be in residence visiting classes November 12 through 14. The UMA community and the general public are invited to the opening reception and artist talk on Wednesday, 11/13 from Noon-1pm.

    This amazing initiative provides over 1,300 FREE Thanksgiving baskets to Maine families in need. Transportation provided from UMA-Bangor campus. Snack, drinks & a "meal" provided. Participants are encouraged to wear shoes and clothing they do not mind getting dirty.

    For all UMA Students, stop in anytime at the Bangor Fitness Center on Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 AM - 8:30 PM, and Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, complete the daily fitness challenge to be entered into the drawing for a Garmin Vivosmart HR Activity Monitor. Student Life and the Fitness Center will be raffling off four activity monitors throughout the fall semester.

    北京快3代理You can obtain bonus entries on Tuesdays and Thursdays by completing the "Drop in Circuit," on Tuesdays and Sundays by participating in "Yoga for Every Mind/Body," and by completing one of the three walking paths. Come in daily to increase your odds of winning. Students may only win one activity monitor.
