Grants

Grants generally do not need to be repaid as long as you satisfactorily complete the semester for which the grant was awarded. Grants are often need-based.

Loans

A loan is money you borrow and must pay back with interest. Federal regulations require students to attend at least half-time to be eligible for student loans.

Scholarships

Work Study

Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. Work-Study is taxable income earned from work and does not need to be repaid under normal circumstances.

Tuition Waivers

北京快3代理Waivers are similar to entitlement programs. If a student meets certain criteria, the student is not required to pay some portion of University tuition and, in some cases, fees.

Payment Plans

UMA offers an extended payment plan to assist students and their families’ budget more effectively to meet college costs.

Alternative Sources

It is possible that the Financial Aid awarded may not cover the full balance due, in which case you may need to make arrangements for alternative sources of funding to pay your bill.
